Why Rinnai Is the Best Continuous Gas Hot Water System

Sick of running out of hot water? A continuous hot water system may be your answer.

Australia’s #1 choice of continuous flow hot water system is a Rinnai Gas Instantaneous Hot Water System.

Gone are the days of the old large storage tanks, the Rinnai Continuous Flow Hot Water System is a compact, wall-mounted and space-saving hot water system.

This hot water system saves you money because it is cheaper to run than a traditional storage hot water system. The pilot light does not run continuously.
On the Rinnai continuous flow hot water system, the pilot activates and turns on only when the hot water tap is turned on, and it turns off when the hot tap is turned off. therefore it only ever uses gas when the system is in use.

Water is heated as it passes through the unit, giving you continuous hot water that doesn’t run out, unlike the gas storage tanks.

Our most popular sizes in the Rinnai Continuous Gas Hot Water are B16, B20 & B26.
This hot water system has an anti-scalding feature with the temperature pre-set to 50 degrees.

Depending on the size of your home & how many bathrooms are in use at any one time, will determine what you need to consider when choosing the size of your continuous hot water system.
Some of the larger size continuous flow hot water systems require a larger 20mm (3/4”) gas line.
Most homes in our local area, have 15mm (1/2”) gas line from the gas regulator to the hot water system.
If you are not prepared to re-run & upsize your gas line, then you will be only able to install the B16 Rinnai continuous flow hot water system.

We have found the Rinnai Continuous Gas Hot Water System to be extremely reliable, only requiring the recommended 5-year service after installation. The Rinnai gas continuous flow hot water systems has a 10-year warranty for domestic use.

These hot water systems have an electric start which requires an outdoor power point.
If you don’t already have an outdoor power point close by, you will need an electrician to install one.

Rinnai continuous flow gas hot water systems are available in LPG & Natural gas.
Even after having your gas line upgraded & installing a new power point, the initial installation cost of your new hot water system often works out very competitive against the cost of another storage gas hot water system. but your cost-saving really comes from the ongoing running costs & maintenance when choosing the continuous flow gas hot water systems.

All our hot water systems are installed in compliance with Standards AS/NZS 3500.4, AS/NZS 3000 and all local codes and regulatory authority requirements.
